What office cleaning includes

An office scope covers the spaces your staff and visitors use every day. Agree which of these happen on every visit and which rotate through the month:

  • Workstations and desk surfaces
  • Conference and meeting rooms
  • Kitchens and break rooms
  • Restrooms
  • Trash and recycling
  • Vacuuming and hard-floor cleaning
  • Reception, entrances and hallways

How office cleaning differs from general janitorial

Janitorial service is the recurring scope for any commercial building. Office cleaning fits that scope to a workplace, where desks have papers and equipment on them, the shared kitchen fills up by the end of the week and meeting rooms need resetting. Decide up front whether the crew wipes all desk surfaces or only cleared ones, whether monitors and keyboards are touched, and what happens to dishes left in the sink.

Small suites and whole floors

A small professional suite may only need a weekly or biweekly visit. A full floor with a large team may need nightly service five to seven days a week. In a multi-tenant building, confirm which areas you are responsible for and which the property manager cleans; shared restrooms, lobbies and elevators are often on the building’s own contract.

Keys, alarm codes and after-hours access

Because the work happens while your office is closed, settle access before the first visit: how the crew gets in, alarm arming and disarming, rooms that stay locked and who to call if something is wrong on site. CRM’s crews clock in at the property through a GPS-geofenced app and take before-and-after photos of their work, so CRM has a record of when the crew was on site and what was finished.

What affects the price of office cleaning

CRM doesn’t sell office cleaning by the hour. The proposal comes from the square footage, what’s in scope, the condition of the space, how often you need service and what time of day the crew works, and it sets out a monthly price. Extra services such as carpet cleaning or window cleaning are priced on top.

Before we get started

A few useful answers.

What does office cleaning include?

Usually workstations, conference rooms, kitchens and break rooms, restrooms, trash and floors, plus entrances and reception. The exact list is agreed room by room before service starts.

How much is office cleaning per hour?

CRM doesn’t price office cleaning by the hour. Each office is quoted on its size, scope, condition, frequency and time of day, and you get a written proposal with a monthly price.

Can you clean while we’re closed?

Yes. Evening and weekend scheduling is available. Agree entry, alarm and lock-up arrangements before the first visit.

Do you clean offices outside Colorado Springs?

CRM also serves Monument, Fountain, Castle Rock, Pueblo and the Denver metro. Confirm your address and the work you need when you call.
